Servers Australia has been offering wholesale services to clients for the past 3+ years via a co-management arrangement with Simtronic Technologies. Simtronic Technologies has been providing the backbone infrastructure to Servers Australia and also the support for our wholesale clients.
The services that have been co-supported by Simtronic with Servers Australia are as follows:
- Broadband (ADSL/NBN/EFM)
- Ethernet (Copper and Fibre)
- Mobile Broadband
- PSTN Voices
- Voice over IP (Hosted and SIP Trunks)
These services are not core services that Servers Australia offer and as such, we are today announcing that we are making the partnership even more formal with Simtronic. We will be transitioning all billing and sales for your existing services over to Simtronic Technologies on April 1st 2017. This will allow Servers Australia to continue to focus on our core products which are:
- Dedicated Servers
- Cloud Hosting
- High availability managed hosting
What does this mean for you? Not a lot! Due to the close relationship we already hold with Simtronic, there will be no service interruption and no need to modify any service usernames or device configuration changes. Some customers may see a change to their services IP Address but this will be communicated to you by Simtronic directly during March.
The only major changes will be in the way that the billing is handled. Simtronic Technologies run on a 1st of the month billing cycle whereas Servers Australia run on an anniversary billing cycle. This means that you will receive your first Invoice from Simtronic on the 25th of March due on the 1st of April 2017 for the period from the 1st April 2017 to the 30th April 2017.
Servers Australia will cease your billing in March and bill you up until the 31st March 2017. Therefore if your billing cycle runs from the 22nd of the month, you will receive an Invoice for 10 days of service from the 22nd March 2017 until the 31st of March 2017.
